The beach in front of us is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to learn. Whisky Point breaks gently against a rocky point right on our doorstep, while nearby Baby Point offers waves of around a metre over a safe, sandy bottom and a forgiving right-hand break — perfect for first-timers and kids. We'll get you standing up and smiling, then point you toward the next wave when you're ready.
